Honey Relic
Size: 4x6
Year Created: 2025
Mediums: Oil Paint with Rose Gold
Summary:
A quiet gleam pulls the eye first—the shimmer of gold leaf worn in places like an artifact handled by careful, reverent hands. At its center, a cluster of warm honeycomb glows as if lit from within, each cell rich with resinous depth. A single bee rests upon it, frozen mid-task, a tiny guardian of sweetness and toil.
Faint hexagons ghost across the gilded surface, emerging and receding like a memory beneath the metal. The whole piece feels like something uncovered rather than created, a small treasure that seems to hum with its own secret history.
